Our mission is to contribute to the self-reliance and confidence of our customers and to the integrity and tradition of the sailmaking craft by providing hands-on instruction and by building the highest quality cruising sails available anywhere.
Carol Hasse has been a sailmaker and owner of Hasse & Company Port Townsend Sails, located at the Port of Port Townsend's Point Hudson since 1978. The crew of Port Townsend Sails makes voyaging sails that are world renowned for performance, aesthetic quality, and durability. Our foremost commitment is to provide the best sails available worldwide with customer service that results in a level of trust and appreciation that turns customers into friends.
Our sails are found on boats ranging in size from dinghies to tall ships. We are excited to be building new sails for Risa and Caveat, two Thunderbirds that are part of the Northwest Maritime Center and Wooden Boat Foundation's sail training programs. Our more high profile projects include Ocean Watch, Adventuress, Mahina Tiare, Tethys, Radiance, Ragland, and Carlyn.
We are equally proud of the sails we make for cruisers who explore their dreams outside the spotlight of sail training vessels and scientific expeditions. These intrepid sailors are voyaging near and far with the assurance that their sails are built to last and to move their boats in all the conditions they may encounter.
