Bob Cunningham is the long-time owner of Saybrook Boatworks and Traditional Wood Boat, LLC.  He moved from New England to Port Townsend in 2010.  With more than 40 years experience in the marine industry, we've built an array of new boats from twelve foot skiffs to large schooners. 

We provide a full-service ship's carpentry operation, and specialize in commercial hulls.  We replace major structural components including keels, keelsons, stems, horntimbers, stringers, and deck beams.  We also build new holds and perform re-framing, planking, decking or a total hull replacement.
